Luke is a 2nd-year college student whose deep gravelly voice made him a huge star on TikTok amassing a whopping 1.9 million followers. But “American Idol” is not his first stint on television singing shows, before making his debut on the ABC show, Luke was one of the contestants on FOX’s “I Can See Your Voice”, where he was explained as the carpenter who loves singing sea-shanty tunes.
Unfortunately, Luke got evicted in the first round itself but left everybody impressed with his melodious and unique voice. In an interview with Philadelphia City Life, the young singer disclosed how his deep voice leaves an impression on the onlookers and made everyone surprised. He described that “I freaked out my family. I looked at old recordings of myself and understood how deep my voice had gotten.” No stranger to the stage, Luke sang in the choir and performed in many musicals while he was in high school at Garnet Valley.
