Earlier, he was arrested in 2010 but he failed to produce at the Melbourne Magistrate’s court to confront conspiracy to his murder charges. Graham Gene Potter is the murderer of Kim Barry who was on the run for almost a decade. He also served in prison for 15 years after being found guilty of 19 years old Kim Barry near Wollongong in 1981. Initially, Kim was beaten and beheaded by Potter who was 23 years old and was working as a coal miner when Barry was attending her dance classes. On 06 February 1981, Barry was killed after she rejected the sexual advances of Potter. Her remains were discovered near a mountain lookout at Jamberoo.
Why was Graham Potter Arrested?
Potter was accused of being assassinated murder a man at the wedding of the son of Melbourne underworld figure Mick Gatto. Additionally, the Australian man was also accused of drugs charges. Potter was described as a master of disguise many times. Potter is currently 64 years old and he was born in 1958. He has been arrested again on 21 February 2022 (today) in Ravenshoe in Far North Queensland.
The police authorities have released a picture of him in which he can be seen handcuffed wearing a grey shirt and black shorts. He was last seen in Tully in 2010. In these 12 years, he went to Victoria where he lived under the cover. He is supposed to appear in front of Mareeba Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
