What Happened To Emmalyn Nguyen?
Nguyen went for plastic surgery for breast augmentation on August 1, 2019. After she was admitted to Kim at Colorado Aesthetic, she had anesthesia, she went into cardiac arrest and began turning blue. but as per authorities, Kim did not call for emergency help to take her to the hospital for about five hours. when Kim did not call for emergency help for about five hours, her condition went worst. she went into a coma and suffered severe brain damage. Her family alleged in a lawsuit against Kim and Meeker, after leaving her daughter in a semi-conscious state. Nguyen took the fight for fourteen months and after surgery on October 4, 2020, she died.

As per medical authorizes Kim and meeker had an obligation to call for help and get her to a hospital. Kim turned himself in on Wednesday and was released on a 5,000 dollar bond. An arrest warrant has been out for Meeker also. Captain Travis Stewart of the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s office said in a press conference, ‘ We open this case in August 2019. Victim Nguyen’s parents said that the doctors left her daughter unobserved for 15 minutes after they administered the anesthesia, during which time she went into cardiac arrest and stopped breathing. they also said, ‘ the staff at Kim’s plastic surgery center allegedly performed CPR on Nguyen twice, and waited five and a half hours before calling 911. according to the lawsuit while she was in a vegetative state, required constant care, including a permanent feeding tube. Nguyen was facing permanent mental and physical impairment.
