ISLAMABAD: Two special PIA planes carrying 700,000 corona vaccines from China reached Islamabad while the third flight will arrive tonight at 12 noon. The first flight reached Islamabad from the capital Beijing at 7:30 am and the second at 12 noon. More than 700,000 vaccines have been brought from both flights.
Special flights of Boeing 777 are being operated by the Government of Pakistan. The use of high-capacity aircraft is aimed at accelerating the delivery of vaccines against the corona epidemic.
The third plane, carrying more than 300,000 corona vaccines, will arrive in Islamabad tonight at 12 noon. A total of one million vaccines will be brought to Pakistan through the three flights.
