They wrote that they are saddened to hear the news of the death of the actor who played Baz in the series 3 episode, Homesick. Apart from appearing on Only Fools and Horses in 1983, the actor also starred in Red Dwarf and went on to work as a stage director too.

Later, in the 1970s BBC drama series titled “Secret Army”, Ron played the role of Alain Muny. Proving his endless talents, the 87-year-old actor also wrote a stage musical entitled Jack The Ripper. Aired in 1975, the musical was about the victorian murder spree in London that took place in the late 1880s.
