It has been almost a week since the most renowned voice of ESPN sports talk radio show host has been off the airwaves as he is facing charges of domestic violence and according to the sources he also got arrested last weekend after a complaint file registered against him. Since Saturday Drew Deener has not been seen on the show as he is currently on administrative leave, this news is affirmed by ESPN Louisville in a statement. Why did ESPN Louisville Radio Drew Deener suspend?
He is Vice-president and daily host of ESPN Louisville radio and he is used to hosting a daily talk show which starts at 7 AM and runs till 10 AM on ESPN radio. Recently he got involved in domestic violence due to which he is facing custodial interrogation and he also pleaded not guilty at his first court appearance to the charges levied on him such as four-degree domestic violence and physical assault. His first court appearance was on Wednesday but he is due back for a pretrial conference in court later this month.
Currently, his daily talk show has been filled with guests to host the show every morning. Reportedly he is facing charges for allegedly being involved in a feud in the parking lot of a restaurant located in Rooster along Shelbyville Road. The police report said that he slammed the head of a woman into the side of a car after an argument but luckily that woman did not suffer severe head injuries and also declined the emergency services.
