According to the reports, Waterloo regional police have started searching for a 17 years old suspect who is wanted on first-degree murder charges after a man was shot and killed on Sunday night in Cambridge. On Monday afternoon, the official said in a news release that they have grounds to arrest the suspect. The suspect has been identified as Jorge Flores aged 17 from Cambridge. The police officers are trying their level best to arrest the suspect.
It was revealed that the suspect, Flores was last spotted in the area of Cedar Street in Cambridge and he might have been armed that time. The police reported that they have been releasing the name and photo of Jorge Flores in the concern of community safety. The picture of Flores has been circulated everywhere even on social media platforms and several Tv channels. The Waterloo regional police were reported at around 10:30 pm about the shots that were fired and were asked to arrive at the area of Cedar Street and Briar Hill Avenue.
The officers said that when they arrived at the scene, they found a 46 years old Cambridge man with gunshots injuries. He was later taken to an out-of-region hospital where he was pronounced dead. He was described as a 5 ft 8 inches tall man, slim, along with dark brown wavy hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a grey tracksuit with a black trim zipper and strings, black shoes, and a red pouch around his neck.
A resident of the building named Tyler Chadwick said that he heard a bang, bang, bang, he added, “I went to check around my door just to see and I noticed there was a commotion going on.
