A report of a car accident is capturing the attention of the entire New York City. According to the reports, the car crash involving multiple vehicles closed the numerous lanes of the Bronx River Parkway. The incident took place on the morning of Tuesday, March 8, 2022. The incident was too horrific that it could even take the life of someone. Well, we didn’t get any report regarding to the casualty of the person. Along with this, the lanes have been reopened for other vehicles after the situation came under the officers and emergency services.
Some reports have been shared by the authorities regarding the incident and currently, the police are investigating the case to know the cause of this accident. It is relief to say that the driver of the car is safe and he survived this accident. After this accident took place, the emergency services, and the police authorities rushed to the place to handle the situation. According to the police reports, the crash took place around 7 AM on the northbound side of the parkway in Mount Vernon just before the Cross County Parkway.
Bronx River Parkway Accident
After this incident, both roads, the right, and center lanes northbound were closed and the crash caused a light pole to fall into the lanes Southbound, causing closures there as well. According to the reports, the driver of the car suffered from minor injuries. After the incident, all the lanes were closed for some time to handle the situation and the lanes reopened after 9 AM.
Along with this, News12 The Bronx shared a video after the incident in which, a toying van was carrying a car from the place and there were some police cars as well who were controlling the situation. With this, the video shows a pole was lying on the road it was in the middle.
Police didn’t share many details about the incident and even, they did not reveal the person who was involved in the car crash. Looks like that car belonged to the Toyota company. Last month, another car accident was also reported in which a car landed in Bronx River after the incident on the Bronx River Parkway.
