AEW star Brody King from the Home Of Black was the newest visitor on the Wrestling Perspective podcast to debate a variety of matters, together with his ideas on Buddy Murphy becoming a member of the faction, and the way he feels about followers labeling him as a tag crew wrestler. Highlights from the interview are beneath.
On being labeled tag crew wrestler:
“It’s humorous as a result of I’ve by no means thought-about myself like a tag crew wrestler, and you already know, it wasn’t till not too long ago once I was like, effectively… I’ve received the Crockett Cup, I’ve received the NWA tag crew title, I’ve received the Ring of Honor tag crew title, I’ve received the PWG tag crew titles. I suppose I’m a tag crew wrestler. However like, in my thoughts it’s like, I’m a singles wrestler, however I suppose I simply work rather well with a crew.”
Talks Buddy Murphy within the Home of Black:
“He [Buddy Matthews] appears to be like, I really feel like, if Buddy simply regarded like a traditional man, it is perhaps somewhat bit extra jarring. However like, he’s so unbelievably jacked, it’s nearly like I don’t know of one other particular person that appears the way in which he does. You recognize you bought Brian Cage or like another person however Buddy is simply this huge human with essentially the most muscle definition I’ve ever seen and he appears to be like like he’s gonna kick the sh*t out of you always.”
