A 21-year-old hiker died after falling roughly 700 toes off a cliff whereas making an attempt to take a selfie on Monday, authorities in Arizona stated.
Richard Jacobson had been tenting with a good friend on prime of Flatiron Summit in Misplaced Dutchman State Park, about 40 miles east of Phoenix, when he went to the sting to take an image and slipped, a spokesperson with the Pinal County Sheriff’s Workplace stated Thursday.

The sheriff’s workplace search and rescue crew was despatched to the summit and located Jacobson’s physique “roughly 400 to 700 toes beneath,” the spokesperson stated.
